About Us
- The Good Life Shop was established in the early 1980's and was a shop for vegetarians run by vegetarians. It was run like that until 2002.
- Then the business was sold to us , David and Liz Girdwood.
- We came to the business with fresh ideas but still adhering to the principle of value for money. Good food, quality ingredients at reasonable prices.
- We have made changes. The Good Life became focused on being a delicatessen and less of a health shop.
- The aim is to provide the customer with a variety of interesting food from local sources, where possible, from elsewhere if needs be.
- The underlying principle then and even today has always been to listen to what customers want and then to try to obtain goods at the best available price and satisfy the needs of customers at an affordable price.
- We like to think that we listen to and act on what you the customer tells us.
- One of the major changes we have made is to embrace the internet and offer customers the opportunity of buying in our virtual shop. No need for you to come to Wooler to buy!
